My River is an iOS client that, enables you to control JRiver Media Center through your wireless network.
Stream music from JRiver Media Center to your iOS client.
Browse your library by audio, artist, album, genre, playlist etc.
Search, play, add to playing now, control volume, and more from wherever you are.

My River for iPhone

Released for iPhone/iPod Touch (runs on iPad as well, but not with split screen as the iPad version).

Requirements:
Compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad. Requires iOS 4.0 or later.

Getting started

Install JRiver Media Center.
Select Tools, Options... and enable "Use Media Network to share this library and enable DLNA".
Get your access key from JRiver Media Center.

Start My River and select Settings, and click on "Add new JRiver server".

If no server is set up, you will automatically be directed to the Connection view (se below).

Connection with access key
Type your Access key...... Host address and Port number will be retrieved automatically.

Connection (manually)
Leave access key blank..... type your Host address and Port number how to get the Host address (IP address).

If Authentication is enabled in JRiver Media Center.

you will get prompted for Username and Password in My River.

Streaming mode

To enable streaming, go to Settings select zone.

Select the zone "Here".

Change audio output under streaming quality.

Select and browse

Long tap to select item(s).

Single tap to browse.


Single tap on cover to show duration etc.

Long tap on cover to show pop-up menu.
